VelaShape III combines multiple modalities into one amazing treatment: Bi-Polar Radiofrequency Energy; Infrared Light Thermal Heat; Mechanical Manipulation & Massage; and Vacuum Suction.
The Bi-Polar Radiofrequency Energy and Infrared Light work together to shrink the fat cells, as well as stimulate production of collagen to firm and tighten the skin. It accomplishes this by puncturing the walls of the fat cell, causing them to release fatty acids, glycerol and water.
