PRP Facials – East Lansing

The PRP facial is a state-of-the-art cosmetic procedure that utilizes the patient’s own “growth factor” – extracted from their blood – to stimulate the skin’s natural regeneration process.

During the treatment, the patient’s blood is drawn, just as it would be for a routine blood test. Next the blood is spun in a centrifuge, separating out just the platelets. These platelets contain up to 8 times the “growth factor” found in whole blood. This “Platelet Rich Plasma” or “PRP” – is injected into the face during the microneedling process.

The concentrated growth factor that has been injected stimulates the skin to produce collagen and elastin at an accelerated rate. This builds tighter, plumper skin cells – improving skin tightness, tone and elasticity, which smoothes out wrinkles and lines. The result is a dramatically smoother and more youthful skin!
